Hi! I’m Justin Hong and I’m the very proud Principal of Northern Beaches Secondary College Cromer Campus.

Welcome to our school.

At Northern Beaches Secondary College Cromer Campus, we start every day, by greeting the students at our school gate. My teachers start their lessons every day by greeting the students as they enter every classroom in our school.

Every student at Cromer Campus is known, valued and cared for.

In our classrooms, every student is following our teachers learning goals and success criteria. This builds students confidence and sense of achievement in every lesson that they do at our great school.

The school has a deep commitment to literacy. We have a literacy program that builds a strong foundation in grammar and punctuation, spelling and develops a love for reading. Supplementing this strong foundation, every subject teacher explicitly instructs students in writing through a scaffolded approach which builds students confidence. This commitment at our school has led to some amazing results in NAPLAN and student growth. We currently are producing some of the best results in growth across the peninsula.

One of the strengths of Northern Beaches Secondary College Cromer Campus is the wide range of opportunity, not just in our classrooms, but beyond. These opportunities include the performing arts, student leadership, sport, debating, STEM – just to name a few. These opportunities cater for the widest range of student interest and ability and build student commitment and pride in their school.

Our school’s ability to offer extra opportunity is strengthened and enhanced by our membership and partnership with the Northern Beaches Secondary College – a collegiate of five high schools, that by working together offer our students the widest choice in curricular and extra-curricular opportunity. This especially includes our senior curriculum – our year 11 and 12 subject offerings which are the widest range of subject choices. Our Duke of Edinburgh program, the biggest program in the State, and we also offer opportunities for our students to work with primary schools and other schools – all representing Northern Beaches Secondary College and Cromer Campus .

I look forward in the future to meeting you and your child.
